Up Close Electrical Ltd

Every job is quoted at a fixed price in writing before we start.

Smaller jobs and emergency call outs are invoiced on completion.

Larger installations such as full rewires are split into first fix and second fix, so you pay for each stage once it is finished and you have seen it. Multi stage projects are invoiced section by section as each section completes.

Invoices are issued the same day the work is completed, with payment due within two days. No retentions, no drip feeding, no surprise extras at the end. Anything additional is agreed with you in writing before it is done.

Emergency electrician, 24 hours. Power loss, tripping breakers, burning smells, dead fuseboards and faults that will not clear. Answered through the night, at weekends and on bank holidays across Bradford and Leeds.

House rewires. Full and partial rewiring for older properties, planned room by room so you can stay living in the house. New cable, sockets, switches and consumer unit, fully tested and certified.

Fuseboard and consumer unit replacement. Old rewireable fuse boxes replaced with modern boards, individual RCBO protection on every circuit and surge protection where required.

EV charger installation. 7kW smart chargers supplied and fitted on a dedicated protected circuit, usually in a morning. We handle the government grant claim for renters, flat owners and landlords who qualify.

EICRs and landlord safety certificates. Full inspection and testing with a clear report on what needs doing and what does not. Landlords in England are legally required to have one every five years.

Sockets, lighting and general electrical work. Additional sockets, downlights, outdoor power, garden lighting, cooker and shower circuits, and fault finding.

Commercial electrical work. Shops, offices, units and landlord premises. Installations, maintenance, periodic testing and remedial work.

New builds and extensions. First fix and second fix on building projects, working to programme alongside other trades.

Certain electrical work must be notified to Building Control by law, and only a registered electrician can sign it off.

As a NAPIT registered contractor we certify our own work and notify it properly. You get a working installation and the paperwork that proves it, which is what a solicitor will ask for when you sell or let the property.
